I worked with local supper club Little Sambol, to create a series of posters and a social media roll out for an upcoming event.
It was important that there was a nod to the Sri Lankan heritage behind the supper club, but also that it did not focus too much on a novelty design. It needed to be fun, bright, bold but modern.
Solution// Playful typography, with a handmade feel harking to the hand painted signs found in Sri Lanka. Paired with a plain sans serif and a bright contrasting colour scheme it is playful whilst remaining modern.
